So true. I/we have been with all of our dogs, right to the last moments of
their lives. They deserve no less. Now they await us at the Rainbow Bridge.

Standing watch over your dog is one of the hardest and most necesssary
things that you'll ever do. Tou give back just a tiny bit of what you get from
them.

I'm sorry about your Dalmatian. We had a 12.5 year old named Pongo. We had
him for 2.5 years until we had to put him to sleep last December.

Thanks Gino,

I saw Pink Floyd on tour in 1973 (I believe) for DSOTM and again in 1994
for The Division Bell album; another friend of mine from England is friends
with Dick Parry their saxophonist. He got me a pass and I saw them in
their final dress rehearsal at Joe Robbie (now Sun Life) Stadium in '94. I
didn't have tickets to the concert the following evening (it rained), but the
dress rehearsal was almost 2 hours long and the weather was perfect; I
would estimate there were only a couple of hundred people there ? A day after
the show, my friend borrowed my car so he could show Dick and 2 of the
female vocalists (all very nice people) around town. They picked me up from
work and we drove them back to their hotel in Fort Lauderdale. I remember
speaking with Dick about Lol Coxhill who he knows personally and is also
fond of.

Yes, I would have loved to see PF during the early days, but never did.

Hooking up with somebody locally who owns a working Mellotron in South
Florida is about as likely as Emilio and Gloria Estafan inviting me over for
dinner. Even some of my closest friends think it is strange that I have
such a curiosity and interest in Mellotrons.

My companion, a beautiful 14 year old Dalmatian is sick and in the final
chapter of her life. I have made a commitment not to travel anywhere until
she is gone. When that day comes, I'm going to call on one of you guys and
maybe my dream will come true.

Robert

TMB is as close to seeing Genesis in their prime as being there. It is
shocking how accurate they are. I followed Genesis in the early 70's seeing
6-7 stops each tour (did that with PF before DSOTM too)
and these guys are getting down to the nuance, they are not a tribute band.

I am sure there are any number of people who would allow you to come see
and play their Mellotron. We dodo dat.

Last I heard he was using G Force M-Tron samples. Hopefully samples of The
