I normally don’t like re-masters or remakes either but this is certainly an exception. I like live music over studio to a great extent and Seconds Out was always my favorite Genesis album….I also saw that tour….what a great show. I saw them several years ago and they had become kind of boring in their performance. I’ll still owe you that beer but since we are like 10,000 miles apart it will have to wait until one of us makes the journey one direction or the other. I am assuming you are in England but that assumption may be wrong as the members here are scattered around the globe. I am located in central California. Genesis (mainly Tony Banks) had enough problems touring with them and in a couple of interviews he expressed a blatant dislike for the tron much like many of the early tron players did once they had an alternative. These days many of the alternatives are indistinguishable once sitting in a mix. Even the original trons were usually buried in distortion, reverb, echo, phasers, etc. so the true sound of the machine was often obfuscated in the final mix. It would be interesting to find out for sure what the whole keyboard lineup was for both of his releases. He may have gone old school but his first release sounded pretty much like a modern production so I kind of doubt it. If anyone knows what was actually used it would be interesting to hear.
