Criminals don't care. That's one of the reasons they're criminals. Kids
kill other kids for shoes. It's a sad world.

Really sorry to hear that Gino.

Ditto on the "scum" comment someone already made. The relative pittance
that they get for most of the stuff they steal vs. the inconvenience and
headache they cause for the victim is indeed criminal.

Good luck with replacing or locating.

Rick

Last Thursday somebody stole my pedal board and a guitar. The board had
an old Sola Tonebender a Trem Face, Wah Face and Colursound OD and Memoryman
rehoused to used knobs. All of the stuff is really old and I can get away
with replacing most of it with modern copies. There are a couple of things
that I can't do without and I am stupidly particular about them.

I need buy, beg, borrow ,steal some old electronic parts to reconstruct a
NoName (I assume Sola) Tonebender and and a Colursound sustainer. If
anybody knows how I can get some old Germanium transistors, real ones used or
new. I would be really grateful. 20 years ago they were common parts in the
UK. In school I built amps for my friends so I am pretty sure I can build
the two pieces that might cost me thousands to replace.

Any advice from you tone gods, I am all ears.

Thanks for being the great group of folks you are.. I have been meaning
to say theat for a while

Best

Gino
