Randleman, which is 15 minutes south of Greensboro. Smaller house, 6 times
as much land. At the moment I'm ripping out a door frame so that I can get
my trons and a sofa up the stairs and into a large room over the garage. At
the moment, I do not have a proper workshop. No basement. However, I am
going to rent a commercial space and build one there until I can complete a
600 square foot building on my property.

Our dogs think they have gone to dog heaven. They go to bed exhausted and
satisfied each night, unlike the wife and I, who go to bed exhausted and
sore. We've been here for two weeks. Our furniture has been here for just more
than a week. There is much to be done.

I love hearing about what everyone does, is interested in, what the family
is like etc! We have quite the talented and eclectic group. Keep it
coming.

oh, btw, I also love to fish. Fresh water/lakes, catch and release, large
mouth bass are the game of choice.

I was a bass player for many years until I listened to the Moodies and saw
Michael Iceberg. After getting goosebumps, I was hooked and bought a
Chamberlain M-1 from Mr. Harry and Richard. I played in a lot of local cover
bands over the years and when I switched over to keys, I was fortunate to
play with another keyboardist who played piano, organ and synth which let me
concentrate on my Chamberlain, Polymoog and mini-moog (late 70's). I have
switched back and forth between bass & keys, but keyboards are where my
heart is at. I've been married for 20 years with 2 dogs and work for a
Tourism Board which requires traveling quite a bit and keeps me from being in a
band. I really enjoy creating music, but need to get some recording gear.

I'm described as a "Servicing Technician" by the National Health Service,
though my qualifications and experience would probably suggest that I'm an
Engineer. I repair, maintain and commission patient-connected Medical
Equipment ("machines that go 'ping'!") at one of the 2 main hospitals in
Edinburgh, Scotland. I can't stand the job, as it's dull, boring, repetitive,
mind-numbing, etc. However, they probably do over-pay me. Before that, I was an
Electronic Development Test Engineer with a Defence Electronics Company,
also in Edinburgh, testing and re-designing Test Equipment for Airborne
Radar Systems - happy days!

I'm married, with NO kids. I let my job spill into my private life, and I
design digital electronic stuff that has nothing to do with
Micro-processors or Micro-controllers, as I have NEVE got to grips with them - they are a
very black art. The Motorola 6802 is about my limit! I compile numerical
puzzles that are about 2 or 3 steps beyond Sudoku - I've compiled over 3,300
of them with a view to submitting them to a national daily newspaper for
publication. I'm also interested in public transport, such as railways,
buses and trams (or streetcars if you're west of the puddle). Yeah, I know -
sad as you like!
I am NOT (by any stretch of the imagination) a musician, though I try to
make acceptable sounds & noises with my CS01, PSRE-333 and M400. If I want
more stuff, then I'll have to move house, cos I ain't got the room.

Any questions?
