Thank you Clay!

Perhaps a little introduction:

I’ve been a member of this group since 2009 but have posted only once or
twice. As Clay mentioned, I’m also the moderator for the Korg PolySix group.
My task here will be mainly allowing new members in, and keeping spam and
other nuisances away.

I’m from the Netherlands and I own an M400 which was originally from the
Dutch prog-rock band Earth&Fire. I bought it in non-working condition around
15 (?) years ago and fortunately it was easy to fix. Since then I’ve used
it mostly for my own musical doodles, but it has also been used by others.
For example in a concert of Medeski Martin & Wood, and also by the Foo
Fighters in a session for Dutch TV (see it in use at
http://youtu.be/B_zC24Liq3A?t=24m46s). At that time mine was apparently the only working Mellotron
in the Netherlands, and the Foo Fighters required one or they wouldn’t come.
It was a really fun session to attend, and awesome to see them in action!

Kind regards,
Ben
