I have three sets on racks and one I never use. It's the flute/strings one. Maybe you have a set your not using and want to trade. I'd like one with vibes the best but I'm open to whatever. I also have a strange set of tapes that the has 7 sounds. Each half of the keys is a separate sound with some sound effects added at the end of one of them. I'd trade that also but I would have to have vibes because that set has one half vibes. If you email me off list (wbeith@sbcglobal.net) I will send you a copy of the original manual. I'm starting a new run and will be shipping around the first of the year. I build three sizes, 3X3, 3X5 and 3X7 feet. > > Bill > > From: "Tom Doncourt tomdcour@amnh.org [newmellotrongroup]" <newmellotrongroup@yahoogroups.com> > To: "newmellotrongroup@yahoogroups.com" <newmellotrongroup@yahoogroups.com> > Sent: Monday, September 22, 2014 2:39 PM > Subject: Re: [newmellotrongroup] Off topic Alesis Nanoverb 2 > > > Are you still making the plate reverb William? > >> On Sep 22, 2014, at 3:32 PM, william Beith mailto:wbeith@sbcglobal.net [newmellotrongroup] <newmellotrongroup@yahoogroups.com> wrote: >> >> >> I recently picked up a Lexicon MX200 on eBay for $99. Little box sits right by it. Works fantastic and a little reverb smoothes out some of the self noise it has. It really is the butter on the edges on my Mellotron sound. >> >> Sent from my iPhone >> >> On Sep 22, 2014, at 12:23 PM, "Berington Van Campen vcmusicorp1@yahoo.com [newmellotrongroup]" <newmellotrongroup@yahoogroups.com> wrote: >> >> >> Hi Mark, >> I've used the Nanoverb 1 that was built in to a small club sound system, and it sounded terrific, especially for the price, anywhere from $79-99. Alesis & others do have other units for similar prices that may give much more flexibility, tho. While the Nanoverb is mono/stereo in & stereo out, the reverbs are strictly mono. They sound spacious (I had a favorite or two), but the stereo kicks in with some of the chorus & flanging effects. There's no readout to easily show you your setting - you have to look at the knobs to see it - which you'd likely find in a bigger unit, & may eventually find useful. >> >> But if your just looking for a little "space" for your 'tron, & probably not going to "foolaround" too much with it, ANY Alesis unit, including the Nano, will do a FINE job.
