Hi Mark,I used the stock reverb (D-Verb) that came with my Protools 7.24 program, and it's okay. But then I was turned on to the Lexicon MPX Native program, & it made a huge world of difference! MUCH cleaner, more variety, infinitely adjustable parameters, etc. Of course, Lexicon has always been the leader in digital reverbs, so it's no surprise... they're the best. But this was only about $100, which is a far cry from their $25,000 studio desktop unit that gave them their reputation 40 years ago.

You MAY not be happy that it doesn't come with specific spring reverb FX... it's really designed to emulate real spaces, from small rooms to cathedrals. But I can tell you from my experience over the last 1 or 2 years with it, is that it does wonders with Mellotrons. It's clean. It DOES require an i-Lok security drive, but if you already have one for your DAW or other software it's no problem to add it on.
