You can hocket and spider your way to slick perfection, but I like the artifacts on the M400, the spurious click or clack, little wow or wobble and the uneven tape ends. I am with Fritz. It's like the girl with overbite, the one with the the flaw that isn't a flaw, the thing that makes her identifiable and unforgettable.

Not to take anything away from Frank because he's one of the two best we have in the USA, but all stock M4000's play like that...mine included. While you can do wonders improving the action on an M400, it will never play like an M4000.
