It DID sound like a Mellotron, until he changed one oscillator pitch after a passage or two, & tuned 'em closer. Not QUITE the same after that, but no doubt it was a close similarity! Glad you guys liked the cat stories. I have 2 right now who rarely leave me alone in my studio. They follow me in almost every time... one often sleeps in there on the carpeted floor behind the console; another often sleeps on top of my Fender Twin amp (under the aforementioned MiniMoog),, and they all go in there to feel safe if there's thunder or something. Music, and treated acoustics, give good vibes, my 4 furious felines are more sensitive to 'em than anyone. Always good for stories. And sound effects! On my new CD, I finish one serious rock & roll song... with a great purr. Use the resources, right? Cheers & beers!
