I don't own an iPad, the M-Tron Pro vst, or even a "Smart Phone".
Do the samples in the M3000 sound better or about the same as the mellotron samples in the Streetly Tapes - Vol 1 Expansion Pack for M-Tron Pro ?
Do the samples on the M3000 sound better or about the same as the mellotron samples in the 50th Anniversary Collection made for the Memotron ?
Firstly, I don't mean to cause a controversy. I understand the opinions could be subjective. I'm sure all of these products sound great and could be put to good use by a talented musician in the right situation.
Thanks,
Robert

This sounds abit like a "bleeding edge"
solution. What is the benefit besides compactness? It seems
the ipad has serious power issues. When i played live i used
an M Audio usb keyboard and had all my vst synths controlled
through a piece of software called
Live (professor?) or something like that. There is a vst
called "Redtron" which sounds fabulous. This setup
had some issues but sleeping screens and power run-down
wasn't one.
