Re: 10 Worst Keyboards - orchestron

2007-11-30 by David Davis

In fairness to the Orchestron -
Kraftwerk used it to splendid effect on their "Radio-Activity"
(puntastic!) and "TransEurope Express" albums -
these days they use crap bland digital string and choir sounds which
are just rubbish compared to the rickety grainy sound of the
Orchestron - in particular, TEE's high string melody is so beautifully
austere, whilst the end of "Radioactivity" (the song) sounds like a
choir of million-year-old-radioactive-monsters groaning and croaking.
