Gee sorry... I apologize Tony, I didn't realize you had advanced degrees in computers and were "thick??".
When you get your super advanced degree they will teach you how to read media files with IE 8...or maybe
someone else in this group can explain it to you...seems you are the only one who can't make it work.
As far as NASA goes they also use Windows, Mac, and fly in space....what's your point.  I have used UNIX and
really have nothing against it.  My apologies to the group...I did not intend to engage in a pissing contest.

I've used Unix, Linux every version of Windows since 3.1, so what do I know?
I was just the senior tech with Sony/Ericsson because I'm thick.
And if Unix isn't the answer then why does NASA use it?
25 years in computers when a fast CPU was 8 Mhz means nothing then?
Can't figure out Windows?

No it's not.  It worked fine for me with IE8 & XP.
You have other problems and "migrating" to UNIX is not the answer if you can't figure out Windows.
