Generally, I assume that people who forward these things generally do so with good intentions. Those who originate these things, OTOH, I think do so with the worst of intentions - to set people against each other. I always think of the antecedents - the one about "winterval", and the black plastic bin liners one from the eighties. People still believe those in good faith, so it's obviously an effective form of propaganda. Propaganda for what, though.
