Speaking of unusual bass guitars, does anyone remember and obscure little movie called "Rock and Roll Your Eyes"? It was an early film of Emerson, Lake and Palmer in concert, probably 1970 or so. Greg Lake played a bass guitar that had a bass viol scrolled head on it (complete with geared right-angled tuning pegs). I never saw another one. I always wondered where he got that bass and how it was made. Any insight? -Bruce D. --- On Sun, 2/14/10, John Wright <john.wright@consona.com> wrote: From: John Wright <john.wright@consona.com> Subject: RE: [newmellotrongroup] Steinberger bass To: newmellotrongroup@yahoogroups.com Date: Sunday, February 14, 2010, 4:56 PM A pretty bad TV show in the 70's called "CHiPs" (California Highway Patrol).
