Bernie - yeah - I asked for tuned MK II 3V, as I wanted to be able to use that bum F or F# (forget which one it is as I've had 1407 apart for a while). The second frame I had to think about for a few days, and I narrowed it down from eight or nine candidates, including combined brass, oboe, tenor sax and Ian McDonlad Flute. I definitely was getting the classic flute, as it's still a great and very useful sound (and I want to see the look of comprehension on peoples faces when I play the Strawberry Fields intro for them) . I have always loved the beauty of the M300B, which left me with a toss-up between accordion and tenor sax. When I really started comparing the two in context of the frame, accordion won out. I had some problems with the overall sound of the Italian, so Martin put together a small sample of the French for me, and it's the sound I was hearing in my head when I think accordion. Problem sol-ved. I don't have M300A, but it will among my future acquisitions. john Tron400 wrote: > > John, > > The first frame seems logical to me.
