Mellotron Promo Film

2008-01-16 by Hessel Herder

Hi guys,

Yesterday I was finally able to see the Classic Artist Moodies DVD.

At around 1 hour into the film, when they're discussing In Search Of The
Lost Chord, we see what looks like footage from

some Mellotron MKI / MKII promo: we the machine cycling, keys moving, the
lid sliding in , springs going up and down etc.

Anyone got any idea what the source of this material is and if there's a
full length version anywhere?

Cheers,

Yes - we own the footage. It was shot for local television back in 1964 and
Les had the 16mm film stored away. We let Classic Artists use it for the
Moodies DVD.

Move to quarantaine

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
