  Thanks for the basic scam info.  I got a similar
call last week on the answering machine.  It was
concerning a "prize", and gave a number to call back
soon or else I would forfeit the prize to the
runner-up.  They also said they had tried to reach me
by mail (which I never recieved), so THAT made me
suspicious.  I erased the message, but faintly
wondered if I had missed out on something.  Good thing
I did.  I don't remember the area code, though.
