I'm checking out the newly leaked 2001 album .....frankly, it's  
unbelievable.  I'm hearing mellotrons....hard to tell whether it's  electric violin in 
some places.  I'll have to confirm  this.....

I had the  pleasure of meeting Mr. Bowie many years ago.  He showed up at a 
 recording session I was working on as he new the artist I was working  
with.  He brought cold beer and snacks for everyone and could not have  been 
more pleasant and down to earth.

    'Lets Dance' tour.  I was walking through the Dean Village here and
    saw this pallid chap with a couple of other guys.

It transpired he was looking for a place to buy because had fallen
    in love with the place some time ago.  I've no idea if he ever
    bought it or not, but as Fritz says he appeared to be completely
    unaffected.  He asked if I had made the show at Murrayfield Stadium
    and I said that I hadn't, forgetting to add of course that I thought
    'Lets Dance' was his most dreadful musical period. :-)
