Mr. VG....

Mr. VG....

2012-02-23 by Jack Younger

I hate to be getting my hands dirty by bringing this up, but.....

I feel that recent postings by VGFA or VGSP or whomever are simply inappropriate. Personally I'm not wild about having to sift through this brand of unpleasantness to get to real Mellotron matters. It lessens us all.

Granted, the real VG has had his moments of aggression here at the group. But reading that he has a legitimate Mellotron querie and then to find him debased in such a way has me thinking.....whatever the issue with VG, it's no fault of his Mellotron, which appears to be in need of a part or two.

It takes me back many years to the infamous Mellotron Wars. Not to dredge that up, but as I recall, the needs of the few existing Mellotrons and the talent of all involved brought about an agreeable end to the mudslinging. More working and restored trons seemed to be the salve for the wound, not to mention a healthy competition that brought about newly and brilliantly innovated units.

Let's let bygones be, shall we? Helping to fix the existing Mellotrons of whomever owns them only means that, when and if they sell them, that they are working. Who knows? The Mellotron that you help somebody to fix up today, may be the one you own in the future.

Just putting that out there.

Agreed Jack, the delete button is a favorite of mine.
Don’t know the guy, don’t want to.

Even the first message from VG wasn't from him at all.
All three memberships were invented Feb 21. We all know
who is doing this. It's not funny...Not even a little bit.

Re: Mr. VG....

Huh?

Even the first message wasn't from him?
I don't want to keep on talking about this here but I'm quite sure that the message where he addresses me is his. as he's talking about reviewing our lawyer history... Only Vincent and I know what's that about, so I can't really believe that was not VG...

And I don't know who is doing this. I don't need to know. But I agree that you can make a joke from time to time, but this was a bit too much...

back to beer then
