Hello again...

Hello again...

2012-05-27 by thinkingalouduk

Hi all! I've been absent from here for quite a while (not that I added much in the first place) but will hopefully get back into things a little.

Still no real Tron here (nor much chance of one, sadly) but I'm pottering on with the various sample libraries and pretending they're really an M5000 (no, not a typo) with dual swell pedals and a Pindertron preamp. (Yes, I discovered and became transfixed by the Mellotron and Chamberlin via the Moody Blues.)

For those with long memories, I once did a recreation of Mike Pinder's "Out and In" using M-Tron, and emulated bits of Tuesday Afternoon and Isn't Life Strange for curiosity's sake, which I think I posted here at one point. ... Not ringing any bells, I can tell. ;)

Anyway ... good to be back.

Owen

Yes Pinder and the MB did some good stuff a long time ago.
I personally went through a nostalgia phase in the early 80's when I bought all my favorites on CD. I cannot listen to any MB material now. It gives me the willies.

Move to quarantaine

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
