Lacing a tape frame

Lacing a tape frame

2012-11-24 by Andy Kinch

Anyone else here tried lacing a tape frame with a cat in the room?

Quite hilarious! (and a danger to those precious tapes too!)

Entertaining.

Ouch. Sounds like an early death for either the tape or the cat.

I did that not all that long ago. That was a hideous miscalculation on my part.

I have not, but I understand you'll need to have some aspirin handy, because there will be a sore back when you're done.

Yes I live constantly on the edge! Lol. (not "close to the edge" before anyone says) In fact I ended up doing it twice! And yes, I have got a very sore back.
I have discovered that cats love playing with tape! Especially ones that flick quickly back into their box!

We have SIX cats here. They don't get to play with the Mellotron very much...meow.

I was recording last summer and had turned around to pick up a guitar when the cat jumped on my controller loaded with a choir patch. I think she played a Cminb5#5b6add9 chord. Very inspiring!
