The Mellotron Group

has mellotron viola playing a prominent part (unless my ears deceive me). Which is nice.

(The track is called "The Great White Silence".)

I've toured with OMD a couple of years ago.  Sometimes I had a little chat with Paul Humphreys about Mellotrons.  He said he had two trons, but that both of them needed heavy maintenance.  His point was that nowadays every sound can be pulled out of a computer.

However, it would be nice that he's using a real Mellotron again! :-)
