Did the Mark I/II include the Tango as a backing
track? I have my reasons for asking.

Mark

No, nor lurching around the dance floor.

Check out this eBay MiniMoog auction - note the white (FX Console? Mk II?
Mk I?) missing a cheekblock behind the main photo and another one. Anybody
know this owner?

It's white; it's in L.A. Has to be Brian Kehew.

Sorry to disagree with such an authority, but it's Brian Kehew's white MkII.
It's a MkII panel layout, not an SFX.

Have to watch this, replying to myself now, checked
m-tron which has 7 backing tracks one of which sounds
vaguely South American but not I think a tango. I
belive m-tron was sampled from a Mark II but I think
there were more than 7 backing tracks so:

How may keys on the left manual, how many stations?
And presumably there were 3 tracks at each station.

The backing tracks on m-tron don't cover all the 35
keys, they are quite well synchronised, it is possible
to play chords.

Was it possible to play in a minor key?

Mark

PS Did they include the TANGO?!
