Andy's M400 & Atom Heart Mother

2016-12-11 by Robert

Andy - I'm happy to hear that you decided to keep your tron.

Atom Heart Mother - Recently I picked up and have been enjoying the 2 CD set by Pink Floyd titled The Early Years, 1969-1972, Cre/ation. On the live version of this song it is stated there is no choir or brass sections like on the studio album. Are they using a Mellotron for the choir parts for this live recording ? If so, I can not recall hearing Mellotron choir / voice sounds ever sound anything like this on any recording. I may be mistaken; I just do not recall. It sounds very realistic (i.e. real choir) to me. Does any know what they are using ?

       Hi All.

You'll all be pleased to know that I've decided that
I just can't bring myself to sell my tron. Too much
personal history, and good times and input from Martin and
John make it just more than an instrument to me. I will have
to accommodate it somehow, if we move house next year. I
hope to take the front cover with me when I see Steve
Hackett, get him to sign it.

 Relieved.
