Beach Boys - Pet Sounds - Studio photos: I see RCA 77 ribbon microphones in these photos. Yeah, U47. Wes has been making those 44's for some
time now. Not quite the same as the materials are
quite different, but nice. My 77DX is the cream of my
crop. Those are definitely the two mikes to use for
vocals. One bright and prescise, one smooth and
silky. Not suprising.
