Baby, we could talk all night- but that ain't getting us nowhere.. Hello there, Mello-chumleys, Would any of you happen to have schematics for a 60s Farfisa Compact organ? The cute one with the octave of grey keys and the hidden valves? I have one in at the moment for repair and general TLC. Some documentation would save me a tankful of time and might possibly save YOU from more minced MeatLoaf metaphors. You know it makes sense. Love and Scones, wallis. _________________________________________________________________ Win a voice over part with Kung Fu Panda & Live Search and 100’s of Kung Fu Panda prizes to win with Live Search http://clk.atdmt.com/UKM/go/107571439/direct/01/

Sorted, thanks. A very nice man from the Hamtech forum scanned his Farfisa manual in for me this morning. Gods bless the internet. How is the Odyssey? I've worked on a couple of those, give me a shout should you get stuck. The MkI is easily one of my very favourite synths. I think the pitchbend knob seems less alien to Mellotron players.. Best wishes, msw ________________________________ > To: newmellotrongroup@yahoogroups.com > From: jeffc@netaxs.com > Date: Wed, 6 Aug 2008 22:14:10 -0400 > Subject: Re: [newmellotrongroup] OT- Farfisa Compact > > > On Thu, 7 Aug 2008, Mark Wallis wrote: > >> >> Baby, we could talk all night- but that ain't getting us nowhere.. >> >> >> Hello there, Mello-chumleys, >> >> Would any of you happen to have schematics for a 60s Farfisa Compact organ? Just a quickie.. If you don't know about this thing, google it. I was just wondering if it was actually 'clever' or 'safe' to build a machine 30 miles long that is actually expected to create black holes. in Switzerland, Earth. Why do I have a REALLY uneasy feeling about this? No offence taken, Jon. My knowledge of the state of the union as far as the contemporary physics research infrastructure goes is scanty and casually acquired.
No problem at all, m'dear. I just panic when the words 'cosmic catastrophe' appear in an overview of something of this scale. As one does.
The wierd part is that something of this scale isn't regarded as sufficiently newsworthy to be absolutely ubiquitous common knowledge given the sheer magnitude of the gear.
I only found out about the existence of the place yesterday.
I'm not normally given to technophobia by the way. Maybe there's too much Robert Anton Wilson in my head instead of original thought.
..although I really hope we don't end up arc-welding ourselves to the Moon. It would make a rich footnote in some other culture's sci-fi film.

' So, what went wrong?'

I was actually thinking of letting my Oddy go I prefer my Axxe to it on the whole these days. Too bad I am so far away.
