My wife& I are flying to see our daughter in L.A.labor day week. We';re
planning on driving down to S.F.for a few days.I know I want to visit
the Haight-Ashbury section but wondered if anyone has any other
recommeded sites to see while there? Also if anyone knows of a
nice/cheap hotel in the city or on the outskirts?
Please e-mail off-list with any ideas.
Greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Pete

While in LA, you might want to wander 90 minutes south and get a look at
Frank Samagaio. From everything I've heard, he's incredible. It is entirely
possible that he'll fall apart any minute, so I'd get photos while he's still
standing.
