Does anyone on the list have an knowledge/experience with the Clavia Nord Stage 88 keyboard? A friend is thinking of buying one for the university he teaches for and has asked my help? Is it worth the $3500 it will cost? Thanks in advance! Rick

An Expert Sorry about that. I thought you were asking about the Clamidia 'Raucous 50'. Mine's currently on fire. Apologies all round. I just looked at one while I was evaluating the $1,300 units. It is a really nice unit and it is made so that you are not stuck with that piano ROM from that

Rick Tom Brislin used one live for about a year and ditched it. It is very light in weight but has no weighted keys and Tom did not like the feel of the instrument. He also said he didn't like the piano sound(s). That's all I know. Thanks to everyone who took the time to write to me about the Stage 88. I've passed it on to my friend and we'll see if Concordia University in Montreal buys one. They will NOT be buying the Clamidia 'Raucous 50' that Martinge recommended! Cheers, Rick

But I've got one they can have really cheap... Rick Blechta wrote:
