It sounds good to me on the Streetly Library website, but I just noticed that the sample is 6 overdubs. I'd really like to hear just one. My ears aren't good enough to separate the string section from the other tracks on Frank's video and I wouldn't pass judgement on the sound based on a Youtube video anyway. I agree. There is no fidelity on you tube. Also, the video was shot with my little Canon camera, so the sound is probably highly compressed. In that particular video, the only Mellotron sound is the "New String Section." It sounds really good if you're in the room Frank In a message dated 10/7/2009 7:59:14 A.M. Trust me, Mark, if it comes out of a Mellotron it sounds like a Mellotron. I imagine farts played on a Mellotron would sound like Mellotron Farts. Mike? Anyone? The new String section is just that... new. But it has a very Mellotrony quality. It sound really great and is just part of the ever expanding Mellotron sound palette. You can have all of the great classic sounds, but there are also some really great new sounds that fit right in. In a message dated 10/7/2009 10:26:49 P.M. I think you will find it difficult these days to find someone who can fart in tune for 8 seconds over 3 octaves! There was a french chap in the last century that probably could have managed it, but he is dead.
To quote "The Goodies" ( probably a mystery to the US tronists )
Blowing off, it's a gas,
Blowing off, it's a trip.
It's a sin to hold it in, so let it rip!
Some folks like to hiccough,
Some folks like to cough,
But me, ( insert fart ) I blow off !
Believe it or not that was banned by the BBC, Oh happy innocent days!

You can have all of the great classic sounds, but there are also some really great new sounds that fit right in.In a message dated 10/7/2009 10:26:49 P.M. For that authentic tron sound they would have to genuine live farts, otherwise you might as well use a sampler!

Back in the middle 70's I went to see/play and possibly buy a mellotron(which I didn't) in a small studio in Southbridge,MA.The guy there had told me he heard that someone in Florida had put farts on his tron. Not sure if was true or not. Pete Tron400 wrote:
