I would like to remind all of you that Jesus has a birthday coming up.

It is perhaps the only thing that he shares with Andy Kinch. I suspect that
there are other qualities as well. I have heard that both have ten fingers
and toes. I know both are/were good people.

Jesus never had a Mellotron. Tape frames were a bitch to get back then.

Happy Birthday Andy.

Frank

Yes he does Frank - and though some would disagree, I feel the world's a
much better place for it.

Didn't know that Andy did, However, so I hope it's a good/happy one with
all kinds o' tronnish accessories.

You had previously brought up Christmas Carols and this reminded me that
I wanted to comment that my all time favorite Christmas Album is Joan
Baez's Noel. She recorded it in 1966 for Vangaurd, and though a touch
shrill in a couple of spots, her voice works beautifully with Peter
Shickele's spare but gorgeous traditional arrangements. I especially
enjoy his work with the cellos and violins. Ave Maria and Cantique De
Noel, performed in the original german and french respectively, are not
to be missed. A couple of years ago it was reissued with bonus tracks
that expand the album nicely.

My second fave the Bing Crosby Christmas Album. Nothing needs to be
said about that one.
