hmm. Have you checked the zone settings in details? Have you played anything to it via midi? If it's responding normally midi wise then it must be something at the hardware level I'd think. The key switch boards are usually in an upper and lower half; otherwise if a line breaks somewhere it takes out every 8th note like on my OB8 the other night or something where I had one of the lines between the boards get a bad solder joint; taking out every 8th note above the middle. -Bob ----- Original Message ----- From: "ascii_me" <rorymcd@...> To: <oldsynths@yahoogroups.com> Sent: Thursday, March 25, 2004 3:26 PM Subject: [oldsynths] WaveStation question/ Stuff for sale PAIA and PHILLIPS > Hi All: > Quiet on the list! > > I have a WaveStation that has a (hopefully) minor problem. > When I play it, I get the sound only in an octave or so range- everything else is dead. > Any advice? > All else seems to work fine. > > Regards > Rory McDonald > OLDSYNTHS Moderator > > PS- anyone interested in buying a PAIA MIDI DISTRIBUTION AMP (unbuilt)? > I have all the pieces and instructions. > Also have a PHILLIPS CD RECORDER (the standalone, Stereo component type).
