Sounds like bad rubber bushings. Check out:

http://pw2.netcom.com/~arcsound/

There was another supplier (Highspies, quite a bit cheaper that arcsound)
but they had a limited run and are now out of stock.

Replace the bushings on your old P-R keyboards and it's a world of
difference. The process is quite easy.

Subject: [oldsynths] Noisy Rogue

Afternoon everyone,

I have been the proud owner of a Moog Rogue for more than 20 years,
since I started putting a modular synth together I have used it much
more (as a controller to start with).

The problem that I have is the keys make a heck of a clunk upon
depression and the same on release. If there is any kind of 'felt'
dampner I'm not suprised that it's worn out.

I wondered if anyone has had a similar experience with an old synth,
and maybe the correct way to approach the problem?

I'm not worried about taking the synth apart as I have done this many
times to clear the dust out.

Any ideas would be very much appreciated.

Take care now, and enjoy your weekend.

Clive.
