Hi, Tim. I owned a Micromoog for many years, but haven't had one for over ten years now, so forgive me if my recollection is not perfect. As I recall, the Micromoog had control voltage inputs. The idea is that you insert a control voltage of between 0 and 10 volts to the input jack to control the VCF. You can get the control voltage from a modular synthesizer module such as an LFO or an envelope generator, or from some other control voltage source, such as a control volktage pedal. Although Moog used to make control voltage pedals, good luck finding one now. Inserting a modern synthesizer pedal will not work. the Polymoog Polypedals occassionally come up for sale, but they are optimized for the Polymoog and use the Polymoog as a power source, so they would require some modification to use with the Micromoog. If you have some electrical knowledge, you could wire up a volume pedal so that it functions as a control voltage pedal. This would consist of taking a +10 volt power source and wiring it to the two ends of a potentiometer and then taking the voltage from the wiper to send to the synth. --- In oldsynths@yahoogroups.com, "Tim and Amber Moffitt" <moffitt@v...> wrote: > Hello there, > > I am fairly new to analoog synths and have a question regarding my micromoog. There are several different controller jacks on the back of the keyboard and I was curious if these were for some type of external controller (foot switch, expression pedal etc.)? There is a jack for each module. I have played around with several different pedals to see what these do but have had not luck. Does anyone know if Moog made a special pedal for this and if so how can I get one? Maybe I am just crazy but that is part for the course. Thanks for your time. > > Tim
