I visited Johannes, because we live in the same city (Vienna, Austria). He did all the modifications for me. Now I can use all the features of an up-to-date MIDI-Synth. I can exchange SysEx Messages. This is very important for me. I use Syx in Cubase to setup the polysix with the right patches automatically, when I start playing the song. That's really cool, something I really needed. But in fact I don't really know if it is worth it. There are other Synths out there that have a similar sound and MIDI and that are cheaper than a Polysix + MIDI-Kit. But there are two features that make the Polysix special: 1st: the filters are really one of the best. In my opinion they are better than the filters of a Juno 60. 2nd: the changes of values using the knobs work relatively. On many Synths, it works absolutly, and that's often useless for realtime modulation during a live performance.
