here is my OWN reply... I somehow got the sound quality back by 
removing and replacing the chips... but I think i blew a ssm-2044 in 
the voice #0 when i put its corresponding  ssm-2056 in backwards.. Now 
if i can get the replacement parts  ill know what happenned.
