Okay, so I've got the KLM-367A board all out of my Polysix. The battery was gone from the thing when I got it. There is big time damage to the solder tracings... it looks like IC30, 31, and 25 are fucked too. All of their pins are either oxidized or have that red battery acid-ified look. The solder tracings are spattered with corrosion all the way over to the big IC22. So do you think my Polysix is screwed? When I plug it in and play, I hear sound. The cutoff and res work, the arp works, but all I hear when I play the keys is what sounds like cross-modulation of the oscs. Maybe mixed with a little white noise. I have set every knob to what should be a normal synth sound, but no go. I've tried different patch numbers too. So my dilemma is, is this worth my time to fix? Or should I just salvage the good ICs and knobs for my Mono/poly (should it break in the future), and try to incorporate the FX board into my Fatman? I was really psyched to fix it, but since it looks like it's going to be more than just fixing solder traces, I don't know if I'm up for it... Lava
