I also got the orginal midi-kit that can be seen in the photos-section on this list:

I haven't replaced the orginal board but as far as I remember the differance is that IC32 is removed, some two or a few more cables are soldered on top of some pins on another IC and one IC removes entirely on the voiceboard.

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
