Hi all, I'm selling my polysix. (gasp) Its been good to me, but I need to make room for other things. This one has midi installed. Its a simple note on/off midi implementation, that essentially tricks the Poly's processor that keys have been pressed. Pitch bends and mod wheel movements are not implemented. The unit has a complete battery refurbishment job on it with NiMH battery fitted. All six voice VCAs have been replaced by Roland VCA circuits. These are less noisy and cleaner sounding than the original transistor VCA. The new VCA chips reside on a small board supported above the original voice card. Also fitted on this one is a detune for the unison mode. This goes from no detune to widely out of tune on one knob. The new knob is positioned where the LFO LED used to be. All of the other LEDs have been replaced with a variety new colour ones. This polysix is very unique. The wooden casing is rather worn at its corners, but I have seen worse. The front panel is good for its age, but this is no mint condition unit. Selling price \ufffd400. Shipping would be \ufffd30 in the UK.
