Make sure you use the APL-3 version of the TL5514. It has very low current draw when the synth is powered off. Other versions seem to drain the battery fairly quickly. Hi Don, Yeah that is an old production KLM-366 / 396. I may have one bad voice chip on it, but in general it's pretty good. On the KLM-370, the acid somehow went through the earth wire, and destroyed about 20 traces on that board. It took around 3 hours to clean that one up, but it was relatively easy given it is a single sided board with minimal components. Something I was not expecting. The original KLM-367 board had less battery damage to it, but because a clone board came up on ebay, I just grabbed it. Oh, and my TL5514 RAM chip is shot as well. Easy one to fix. Anthony.
