WTF is that? > -ben hmmm....thanks for the prompt reply ben...it's nice to see that this group isn't dead :-) i seem to have offended you with my choice of words, so let me apologize for that. i'll try to describe this 3rd manual (i DO have the service manual and the owners manual) that was included with my polysix that i'm trying to locate. it was about a 12 page document. the only thing this paper listed was how to set each knob to produce a certain sound. for example, if you wanted a flute, set all the knobs to look like this, and allakhazam! a flute sound is produced. this manual went on to list strings, bass, wind instruments, spacey sounds, etc. It also was the settings for the factory defaults included my the (now missing) tape. (and i think that the tape was also labeled "patch tape" So, in theory, i could sit there and twist the knobs to try to find some sound that i am looking for, but i was hoping to bypass the trial and error phase, and get some assitance from someone who may have this "patch manual" that went with the "patch tape" regards in adavance -erik
