Just about all P6s are now, if it has not already been done, in dire need of a new battery. I've repaired about 35 KLM-367 boards (the one with the battery on it that takes most of the corrosion damage) to date. > Mine has started to show symptoms of the problem so I was wondering if > it's repairable and how much I should expect to pay... Unless the damage is really severe, just about any P6 can be repaired due to the battery for about $10 in parts and $50-$100 in labor, depending on who fixes it. (Of course if you can repair boards yourself, it becomes much cheaper). If you want an idea of what to expect in term of the repair itself, have a look here: http://www.oldcrows.net/~oldcrow/synth/korg/polysix/repair.html Cheers, Crow, who needs to put the Trident MkII repair pages online one of these days... /**/
