Hello ppl, I'm new of this group and I bought recently a P6 with keys problems (all done now) and, that's the question, worn, bad, broken side panels. Since it's not wood what's the better way to restore them? Maybe a reconstruction or maybe stripping the sides (gently) and building new ones from real wood? thank you

I've got a couple Polysixes that I was going to replace the all the fake wood with real and make some extra sets. Interested?

Chris, I have 2 poly6ixes that need new hips. I've been putting it off, but it appears to be a rather easy process. The original particle board has decintergrated. There's a place called www.customsynth.co.uk who already make wood side panels for the P6. They posted a message to this group a while back. I don't work for them or anything, but their wood panels look good. Check out the gallery for some custom P6's and others - I'm not sold on the white Juno but I did like the chrome Sequential Six-Trak! Frank

I'm gonna try something new: put alluminium angles (say the ones used in flight case or similar)... I'll let you know if it's a good idea.
