Discussion about the Korg PolySix synthesizer

Tony / anyone ,
Ive got both a P6 and a P61 (the latter which I bought for £40 for spares for the recently purchased P6, only to find out that I cleaned both up and now they both work fine!).
I still havent managed to locate a suitable replcaement battery for either, that a novice (with CDT Technology GCSE and a wonky soldeiring iron grip could fi :) 
Any ideas on a suitable battery which I could buy from a shop (like Maplins for example) in the UK?

I don't know about the Poly61, but I use a 3.6V 150mAH NiMH battery for
the polysixes I fix. Its a bit over the top, but it fits in easy enough
with some careful lead bending. It fits very tidily and even manages to
cover some of the mess left by the old battery.

Scott recomends the use of a lithium coin cell with suitable holder.
Both these types are available from Maplin.

If you have no leakage/black marks around the old blue battery you are a
lucky man.
