Discussion about the Korg PolySix synthesizer

Hi all!

I am doing a little programming project and I stumbled across the
modulation depth that is possible with the Polysix. I discovered that
mine only modulates the VCO about +/-2 semitones. It never bothered
me while playing but technically I would have expected a larger range.
Just to be sure that there is no malfunction on my Polysix I thought
I'd ask the crowd out there what their Polysixes are capable of.
The measurement is simple:
- set it to a boring patch (e.g. square wave, no effects)
- set the MG FREQUENCY to 0, MG LEVEL to 10
- connect an automatic tuner to the output
- play a single note (mid range)
- and note down the lowest and highest reading of the tuner

Note: the cycle time for the MG at frequency setting 0 is about 17sec
   on my Polysix.
