Hello everybody,

In response to this post to this list from 16.Dec.

I finished now the first step of my Polysix patch
manager working with the tape interface. All basic
functionality is present and should work:
* You can record a tape dump and save in different
  file formats.
* You can open a previously saved tape dump and play
  it back to the P6.
* You can name patches (up to 16 characters).
* You can move patches around with drag and drop or
  the keyboard.
* Following file formats are supported:
  - standard .WAV (8bit mono 11025samples/sec)
  - JH's Polysix editor (can save names along with
    patch data)
  - MIDI Sysex format compatible with Ricard
Wanderlof/
    JH's MIDI retrofit kit
  - Patch chart text file: ASCII text representation
of P6's patch charts. You can print this; 4
patches
    per page, 8 pages.
  - Patch name list (export only). You get a list of
    the patch names (ASCII text).

These enhancements are planned to follow in (near?)
future:
* Online help (Windows help system)
* Graphical printout of patches

The program is a Win32 application. There is a 30 day
trial period, after this a registration code is
required.
I invite everyone to try and test it. For this I want
to upload it to the `files\ufffd section of this list, but
I do not know how to do this. Any hints?

Johannes

Hi,

I uploaded the patch manager to the files section
of the list:
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/PolySix/files/P6PATCH.ZIP

Move to quarantaine

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
