Discussion about the Korg PolySix synthesizer

Hi everybody.

I just recently acquired a Korg PolySix.

The CPU-board was severely corroded from battery leakage and almost nothing worked the way it should.

I decided to populate a KLM367A replacement and all seem to work the way it should minus the MG/LFO.

Where I should have a 50Hz triangle wave, I actually have a 400+kHz butt-crack-wave. See the attached picture.

Any suggestions?

You checked the PCB bugs section on jeds site?

Does it react on changes of the speed CV?

Beside that: someone already mentioned

The 2 bugs mentioned on Jeds site are both patched.

Today I also disovered that the PWM modulation signal is affected, this is in the range of 800kHz, where it should be 20hHz.

Problem solved!

R15 is resistance-net of 5 10kohm resistors. Somehow I received a 3x10 in pairs resistance-net! 

Took the original out of the board and now it works like it should!
