is SynthProf still around?

Seems obvious but have you tried to contact him via email? I'm interested too, as I'm beginning a Polysix refurb project (I'm new BTW, hi all!) and I was pondering a possible KLM-367 repair as one of the options. Any other services doing this nowadays?

Hi Jesus, I run a synthesizers' technical service based in Spain, we are specialized in analog synthesizers, specially Polysix, Juno 106 and Minimoog model D. We have Polysix parts and spare KLM-367 boards for sale, and we repair them too. We are also dealers of Kiwitechnics, so we have many Kiwisix kits in stock.

This is one of our Polysix restorations:

And our last Polysix 'tuning': Korg Polysix Kiwisix DeLuxe 'Black Widow'

Thanks, good job there. I'll contact you by phone to consider several options. My KLM367 was repaired by a previous owner about 16 years ago with what looks like a poor fix (it lost VCA modulation completely). I'll post a new thread with pictures of it, but yes, there's corrosion on tracks that seem to be jumpered with wires. Probably better off with a kiwisix board in the long run, specially if I want a MIDI mod too. It's just a little sad that the board is otherwise perfectly functional.

Hi Polysixer, yep it's so obvious that even I managed to do it! Haven't had any replies. SynthProf website is still up and running.

Andrew (synth prof) seems to be a bit MIA (missing in action) - he has a couple of my KLM367 boards he started (he was off like a shot) as of two months ago he was almost finished and I've heard little to nothing from him in weeks... it's making me a bit nervous but i can only hope he's just getting caught up in 'life stuff' and I will get them back one day (hopefully fixed up).... but I'm not at all surprised you've heard nothing back from him. I guess we will wait it out....
