Need remmondations for reliable modding set

Need remmondations for reliable modding set

2016-11-28 by paularvid@gmail.com

Ok - Some 30 years late I discovered the Polysix isn't fit for sequencing from even the most rudimentary 16-step machine around. I need to upgrade and do the modd.

Whats your expericences and recomandations on mod-set for Polysix. I only need a basic upgrade, as I am not playing pro any more and are not deep into recording and producing.

THanks for the forums help.

https://tubbutec.de/product/modypoly/ -> 167 Euros
http://www.chd-el.cz/index.php?id=399&lngid=en -> 93,00 Euros

I'd recommend the tubbutec, though it is more expensive. The timing of
the tubbutec is better than with the CHD.
And on the tubbutec the complete configuration can be done on the synth
itself.
The CHD requires sending complex MIDI-sysex-strings from your computers
sequencer to configure it.

The modifiction itself is the same simple for both kits.

I recommend not to install the arpeggio trigger mod for both kits unless
you will not use it extensively with MIDI-Clock.

A little absurd, but I thought it might be an interesting exercise to take one of those LED key type Casio's and interface it to something a bit more interesting...thereby making use of all of it's related features.
