The problem is that it expects a drive to be jumpered for "Drive Select 0", whereas a PC expects the drive to be jumpered for "Drive Select 1". In the old days, drives had a switch or jumper to change the drive select. Now most are hard-jumpered for Drive Select 1. You can either modify the drive, or the Prophet to make a new drive work. On the drive I used, I found a small surface mount resistor on it's circuit board across a position labeled "DS1". I unsoldered it and moved it to a position labeled "DS0", and the drive works. Others who have done the modification at the Prophet end may tell you how to do that. Or you can get a drive from Wine Country, but they're expensive. -- Pat
