Re: [prophet2000] P2K floppy disc backup on pc

Can't you get a floppy drive that will read the P2K discs and hook that to a PC and use software to interpret the different format?

AFAIK it's been long reported that there is no way of reading Prophet
discs from PC or Mac's.

Apparently the physical formating of the disks is different.

So it wouldn't even be possible to write software to do so.

Hi Wizards!

I'm looking for a way to backup/store my P2K floppy disc on my pc
harddrive.

I don't think that making backup copies on a second set of floppies
reliable enough, so I'm looking for some kind of software routine
for HD storage.

I'm aware of the SoundDesigner program for mac, but I've read that
the copy for download is faulty.

Has a pc-program been developed for the P2K just like the EMX
program for the Emax?

Best regards

Brian
